Diablo 3 in the works?

Nearly five years have gone by since Blizzard released Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction expansion pack. Recently Diablo 2 has received a major upgrade and a new ladder season has started. Now we are hearing pretty strong rumors about the development of Diablo 3. Don't worry, this new blog will still be dedicated to Diablo 2 LOD. And word on the street is that it could still be years until us Diablo fans can get our greedy little hands on Diablo 3.

Will Diablo 3 live up to the legacy created by Diablo, Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction Expansion? Will Diablo 3 ever actually be launched? For now we will have to settle for speculation, imagination and investigation. Regardless of Diablo 3, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction will go down in the annals of gaming as a top notch classic.
